Public Alert: Expired Coke Drinks Sold at a few shops at the University of Abuja, The SUG Director of Health should engage

An undercover sting has caught Convocation ground of Plenty food providers selling expired food.

Today, our news reporter visited some canteens, convenience stores at the Convocation ground shops and to our utmost dismay, a few sold expired drinks.

Those who sold our news reporter this items that past their best-before date had mixed responses to our findings.

A spokesperson at the Calabar Canteen, who later later tendered the canteens unreserved apologies explianed the drinks were bought today from their wholesale distributor and they are not going to play with the health of the students again.

He then denied allegations that they are still selling the expired products the Prof. Abdul-Rasheed Na'Allah's shop tussle era left them with.

A warning alert is been issued to students at the University of Abuja regarding the sale of this expired Coca-Cola drinks by some shop operators within the university premises. The Students Union Government (SUG) director of health is also tipped to take a swift action, directing its committee to investigate and address the issue.

Consuming expired or spoiled drinks can pose health risks, including foodborne illnesses. It's essential to check the expiration dates and inspect the drinks before purchasing.

 The Director of Health should likely work closely with university authorities and relevant agencies to:
