We in the University of Abuja today are nearer to the final triumph over autocratic students' government than ever before in the history of our institution.

A student once asked his professor, Albert Einstein,"These are the same questions you asked on last year's exam. Nothing has changed, professor"
Einstein answered, "It is true that all of the questions are the same, but this year, all of the answers are different."

Yeah,it's still the same parliamentary system of government that is still being practiced in our SUG and yeah,it's still same old faces with a new touch of new government, but the wine 🍷 tastes different. For the element of change is at the core of all trends.

This new trend is contained in a statement issued in campus on Thursday the 2nd of November 2023 by the newly inaugurated vice president of the students union government,Comr. Khalid Muhammad who was among the 4 cabinet members as they took their oath of office which was done by president of the students union government,Hon. Edwina Okoro.

On his acceptance speech, Comr. KHALID (4* GENERAL) ,the newly inaugurated vice president of the union who is also the member representing the faculty of education reinstated his commitment to serve the interest of the students' populace and also promised to make sure that the students' voices were heard.

He also urged the students to support the government as the government can be no better than the public opinion, which sustains it.
"So, let's come together to build a strong student union," he said.
