The Emergence of Hon. Yusuf Yaro Adamu, now a graduate of history and diplomatic studies as the Director of Socials of UofA has broken a new dawn in the sector.
The entire students populace of UofA and our university community can indeed testify to the resurgence of social activities; following an invigorated interest of brands seeking to take advantage of the great UofA Students.
In barely few months in office, Hon. Yaro, partnered with a number of organizations and brands for several product promotions in the UofA.
Some of the events includes:
1. The UofA Unforgettable Mountain Hike, Uniting Over 3000 Students in a day of adventure and community-building with Big Break Moment Africa

2. Trace in the city which attracted many of Nigeria’s finest musicians like Falz the bad guy, Odumodu black, Khaid,Dj Neptune and many more.

On an interview with the Kano born politician on what motivated him to join students unionism,Hon Yaro said,"Well, I have always been a politician, growing up in the north, politics is part of our daily life, and then becoming a student, I realized that there’s an opportunity for me start politics from grassroot in other to make a difference in school and improve the lives of my fellow students.It allowed me to gain experience in leadership as well as team work and problem solving, together with my other cabinet members."

The Students of UofA have lauded the achievements of Hon. Yaro, as this has not only afforded students with recreational events; it attracted major artistes to the campus, and also created a platform for students to display and market their talents to the public.
Yes,Hon. Yaro has indeed revived, restructured, redefined, rejuvenated, reawakened and revitalised the social life of UofA students on campus, and truly he is leaving indelible marks and foot prints behind that he would never be forgotten in the UofA.
