LP People’s Governor, Proposes An Outrageous 163% Increase In Electricity Tarrif

"Folks, I've got some shocking news for you. Aba Power Ltd, the electricity provider in Abia State, is proposing a whopping 163% increase in electricity tariff for its customers. Can you believe it? They want to hike the price from N99.9 per kilowatt-hour to a staggering N263.08 per kilowatt-hour in 2025.

So, what are saying about this decision of the people's celebrated LP Governor, Alex Otti?

And it gets even worse. For Band A customers, the price will jump from N107.50 to N283.09 per kilowatt-hour. And for Band B customers, it'll go from N95.70 to N252.03 per kilowatt-hour.

Now, I know what you're thinking. How can they justify such a massive price hike? And what's the point of having a regulatory body like @NERCNG if they're just going to rubber-stamp these outrageous proposals?

Folks, this is just another example of the kind of price gouging that's becoming all too common in our society. It's time for us to stand up and demand better. We need to hold our elected officials accountable and make sure they're working for us, not just for the corporate interests.

So, let's make some noise about this. Let's tell Aba Power Ltd and @NERCNG that we won't stand for this kind of price gouging. We deserve better, and it's time we demand it."
