Fellow comrades, the time has come for us to stand together and defend our beloved University of Abuja. The proposal to rename our institution to Yakubu Gowon University is a threat to our identity, our heritage, and our very sense of self.

We must not let this happen. We must rise up and make our voices heard. We must sign this petition and demand that our government respects our autonomy and our right to self-identification.

This is not just about a name; it's about our history, our culture, and our values. It's about the sacrifices we've made, the struggles we've overcome, and the triumphs we've achieved.

We owe it to ourselves, our children, and our ancestors to preserve our legacy and protect our heritage. We must not let the federal government take away our name and our identity.
