In a highly anticipated match, the Faculty of Medical Sciences took on the relatively new Faculty of Nursing and Allied Sciences in the SUG Cup 2025. The Medical Sciences team, with their years of experience and dominance in the University's sporting arena, were expected to triumph. And triumph they did, with a resounding 6-0 victory.

However, despite the lopsided scoreline, the Faculty of Nursing and Allied Sciences won the hearts of many with their grit, determination, and sheer courage. The new faculty, barely two years old, showed remarkable spirit and resilience in the face of overwhelming odds.

As a sports analyst, it's clear that the Faculty of Medical Sciences was a class above their opponents, with their superior skills, tactics, and experience. But what impressed me most was the never-say-die attitude of the Nursing and Allied Sciences team.

They fought hard, created scoring opportunities, and gave their all, despite being outgunned by their more experienced opponents. Their performance was a testament to the indomitable spirit of the University's newest faculty.

While the Medical Sciences team may have won the match, the Faculty of Nursing and Allied Sciences won the admiration and respect of many. They proved that they may be new, but they're not to be underestimated.

As the SUG Cup 2025 progresses, I'll be keeping a close eye on the Faculty of Nursing and Allied Sciences. They may not have won the match, but they've won my heart, and I'm sure they'll continue to surprise and delight us with their pluck and determination.
