NANS Set To Hold 2025 Convention

The Independent NANS Convention Planning Committee (i-NANS CPC) for the NANS Convention in 2025 has welcomed all aspirants, leaders, stakeholders, and observers to the convention.

This is contained in a memo signed by the committee’s Public Relations Officer (PRO), Senator Ekundina Segun Elvis, and addressed to all aspirants, leaders, stakeholders, and observers.

The memo dated February 21st, 2025, was titled: “Warm Welcome and Guidelines for the 2025 NANS Convention”.

It reads: “The 2025 Independent NANS Convention Planning Committee (INCPC) extends a heartfelt welcome to all aspirants, leaders, stakeholders, and observers arriving in Abuja for this historic NANS Convention.



“As representatives of the vibrant and ever-progressive Nigerian student community, your presence underscores the importance of this democratic process in shaping the future of our dear association.

“We acknowledge the dedication and sacrifice of all delegates who have journeyed from different parts of the country to participate in this pivotal event. The INCPC wishes you all a safe and seamless arrival and urges you to uphold the values of discipline, respect, and unity that define our collective struggle for student welfare and national progress.


“In the spirit of solidarity and fair play, we emphatically encourage all participants to conduct themselves with the highest level of decorum before, during, and after the convention. This event is not only an electoral process but also a testament to the strength and maturity of Nigerian students in advancing democratic ideals. Let us embrace dialogue over discord, order over chaos, and brotherhood over division.

“As the independent body entrusted with midwifing this transition, the INCPC remains resolute in its commitment to ensuring a free, fair, transparent, and credible election. Every effort has been made to safeguard the integrity of the process, and we will not waver in upholding the principles of justice, equity, and inclusivity. We call on all aspirants and their supporters to trust in the system and contribute positively to the success of this convention.


“Together, we can build a legacy that will inspire generations to come. Once again, we welcome you all to Abuja, and we look forward to a peaceful and successful convention.”
