The Yakubu Gowon University buzzed with excitement today as students returned for the second semester. Amid a flurry of flyers from candidates vying for votes in the upcoming Student Union Government (SUG) elections, a groundbreaking initiative stole the spotlight. Sen. Ifesinachi Donald Udoka, a visionary student leader, pioneered the installation of a 2200-horsepower solar-powered charging spot at the ETF Love Garden Theatre, ensuring students can stay connected and comfortable on campus.

This innovative project, sponsored by Loveworld Global Fellowship under the leadership of Dr. Daysman Oyakhilome, aims to address the practical needs of students. Dr. Oyakhilome emphasized that the charging spot is a commitment to making this semester enjoyable and stress-free for all. The solar-powered hub offers a sustainable solution to power challenges, providing a dedicated space for students to charge their devices while relaxing in the vibrant Love Garden.
