NUESA President presents Budget of 4.6million naira, Parliament set to probe past administration Invites Director of Socials and Culture.

Starting off in the spirit of team work, synergy and collaboration, the NUESA parliament and Executive council successfully held a joint sitting today to kick start the administration in earnest as they prepare to receive new students who are being admitted into the Faculty of Education.

1. Presentation of budget: The NUESA President Comr. Deme Abraham presented the 2025 first semester Appropriation Bill before the parliament stating clearly that the budget seeks to address key leadership issues and student welfare. The total expenditure is estimated at #4,146,600 only.

Among many things that were discussed are the following;

2. Probe of previous Administration: the two leadership bodies of the association unanimously agreed to investigate the previous administration on the manner the Association funds were spent.
3. Investigation of Former Director of Socials and the Pageant committee : in a parliamentry sitting later held immediately after the joint meeting, the parliament was presented with a petition against Ms. Bianca Chiwemere Edward the former Director of Socials and Culture of NUESA for allegedly withholding prizes of Royalties.
