Education: LETTER TO MY SUG PRESIDENT

Sir,
I must extend my congratulations once again to you for the uncommon feat of winning after the tussle even as your emergence epitomizes a victory for democracy and a reflection of the preference choice of the students, breaking the yoke of godfatherism in the electoral process and system.
It is crystal clear that the measures and metric of any government are largely how it carries its followership along not just in tokenized gestures but in entrusted positions of authority as parts and parcel of government.
However, I will strongly advise that you make the entire populace of the University of Abuja proud, especially the NUESA students ( mother faculty precisely ), projecting them as a cornerstone of your leadership in power.
Following unfolding events and actions,it is appropriate I Chronicle some of our demands in the school as a whole.
1. The renovation of the conveniences in the faculty of education. A faculty housing over 7000 students without a toilet or a restroom for her students is abysmal.
2. The establishment of a task force that will enforce the equal prices of goods and services as proposed by the SUG.Why must the hostel and Faculty of education traders hike the prices of good as againstthe memo sent earlier?.
3. The inclusion of inter faculty Jaw-war(debate) in the upcoming Cultural Day and faculty awards.
4. The inclusion of Guidance and counselling 400l students in the SUG Judiciary. This is because they are the only course in this institution with mediative,curative, and preventive ministry. So the constitutional review Committee should amend this section of the constitution.
I write to you as a friend you are and to lure your heart to do the needful.I await a positive response, which is the news of you advocating for the change our amiable institution you are demanding for.
