BREAKING: Amb. Hussaini's led NANISS applauds farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago led government.

The National association of Niger state students(NANISS) President, the University of Abuja chapter, Amb.  Hussaini A. Alkali has applauded the executive Governor of Niger state, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago for setting Niger state on a world stage, and bringing other sub-nationals and nations for an understudy tour in the state for his level of leadership style and commitment towards ensuring to feed the nation with the newly inaugurated Agro-Processing Free Zone, positioned to produce 50 million metric tons of assorted food crops annually.

Amb. Hussaini A. Alkali's 2024 led NANISS excos sent this appreciation message recently during their executive meeting at the University of Abuja Convocation ground today the 14th day of March. 

In a press statement co-signed and issued by the Secretary General of NANISS,Comr. Muhammed Raji Haruna, it said that the NANISS excos also lauds the governors achievements which has placed the indigenous students as strategic partners in the governance process of the state by renaming the state Polytechnic, Zungeru after the great Literary icon Abubakar Imam Kagara thereby putting a square peg in a square hole. This recent change puts a trademark which serves as a motivation for all indigenous students of Niger state.

"In spite of the present social economic challenges in the country, it is gratifying to note that the Niger State government has continued to sustain the tempo of excellence in infrastructure and manpower development of her people which makes us shine as stars in our different institution of learning, as the immense contributions of our farmer Governor to nation building remains unbeaten in the country"

We also appeal for a creation of a confidence-building platform between the government and the governed,an opportunity for the students and other stakeholders to vent their feelings, opinions, and suggestions on how to overcome challenges confronting our collective existence as a state.

 

Furthermore, we're using this platform to advise our new NANISS Students of this institution to be focused in their studies and shun all vices that will distract them from achieving their life ambitions in the University of Abuja.

Vis-à-vis, we urge all the NANISS students to conduct themselves in good manners and character that is associated with the core values of the institution’s drive for excellence and national unity.

While wishing them a successful journey in their academic pursuit, Amb. Hussaini A. Alkali,also implored them to take pride in their institution and in Niger state, wherever they find themselves.

He also wish all the students luck as they prepare for their first semester exams that is around the corner, stressing that they should read hard in order to attain good grades reciprocating their governors record in our institution, as well.
