NUESA EXCLUSIVE: The NANISS president, Amb. Hussaini Alkali and excos pays a courtesy visit to Sen. Peter N. Jiya at the Red Chambers.

Speaking during the visit,the NANISS president, Amb. Hussaini Alkali informed the lawmaker the union's plans for Niger state and pledged its support for all elected members of constituency.

The president onbehalf of the UofA NANISS sent their appreciation to the lawmaker for his kind-heartedness and warm welcome, justifying the lawmakers track record of fatherly love for Niger zone A constituency especially the students body.

 

"Your post election court ruling is a confirmation both of the perfect will of God and of the irrefutable choice of Niger state Zone A constituency. It also reinforces the confidence our people have in the judiciary, This is a good development for the advancement of democracy in Niger state and goes a long way to pattern true democracy for Nigeria",said the president.

 He charged the senator to continue to do his best in his duties notwithstanding the challenges that come with such position. The president further explain the mission and vision of NANISS, while highlighting the financial challenges that are being faced by most bona-fide NANISS students due to the school fees increment,he also went ahead to solicit for the lawmakers support.

Before presenting a gift on behalf of the club to the senator, the President thanked the senator for his unwavering support for Niger state students and his past track records that have stood firmly as a mirror for all Niger state upcoming politicians to evaluate and measure themselves with, the President also charged him to do more on.

"For to whom much is given, much is expected, added the Secretary General of NANISS, Comr. Mohammed Raji Haruna 

Responding, Amb. Sen. Peter N. Jiya thanked the association for the visit. He pointed out that NANISS is one of the very few association in Niger state that has always stood by him during his political career. He had some kind words for the President and the executives. 

 The lawmaker thanked the association for the ambassadorial award of recognition and pointed out that every bona-fide students of Niger state in Uofa should automatically be a member of NANISS, promising also to always be in touch with the organisation. 

Amb. Sen. Peter used the opportunity to brief the exco on some of his activities at the red chamber of the National Assembly, as well as his efforts to see that the welfare of Niger Zone A constituency is meant.

He also thanked the president Amb. Hussaini Alkali for his insightful leadership role and urged the NANISS students to always be proud of their state and make the state proud. 

Also in attendance at the visit were Juwairriyya Abdulsalam,the Vice president of NANISS, Nafisa Yunusa,the Treasurer of NANISS, Fatima Yunusa,Personal secretary to the NANISS president, Falalu Halima Muhammad,the personal assistant to the president and Stacy Collins, the special assistant on photography to the president.
