147 gadgets reported missing including fans, phones, laptops, as another robbery attack hits Giri New site students community.
Nuesa press gathered that the serial robbery was noticed by the local security at around 5am on Tuesday at Giri New site community which habours mainly students and has caused apprehension among the students as this is happening barely few days after the last ransack by hoodlums.
A total number of 147 gadgets have been reported missing including fans, phones, laptops, touch lights, and other items such as food stuffs, gas cylinder and more.
Most of the victims said they didn't even notice the operation until the local vigilantee blew whistle,as they all complained of the armed robbers using diabolic powers to carry out this action.
The armed robbers used their devices to break into homes through the window and steal phones while they victims slept,until the activity was noticed by the vigilantee around 5am but there were unable to apprehend the suspects as at the time of filing this report, while they are still hunting for the culprits.
The victims has cried for the SUG to come to their aid and also involve the Nigerian Army whose Barracks is directly opposite this affected area, as these serial robbery is just happening now that everyone is studying for their exams.
"We can't read as we have most of our materials in our phones and laptops that have just been stolen" said a victim who cried in anonymity begging for the swift intervention of the SUG.
A popular landlord who spoke with the press, Mr. Adiko Paul has channelled his regrets on the actions of the students,who have failed to heed to the laid down rules of the community, he said students still hang around in midnight smoking,drinking and disrespecting the local security patrol irrespective of the new security protocols that was initially announced after the last attack.
He also complained that there was a serious fight between the students yesterday and they really injured themselves,which made it very difficult for them to differentiate between the students and the criminals they all dressed the same
He urged the students to live right while promising that the local security will do all that is in their power to apprehend the culprits.
