JUST IN: Armed Robber Attacks Paulina, Cuts Her Hands, Steals Her Phone And Money,SUG Pays Her a Visit.

The student union government envoy led by Rt. Hon. Nkem Silas, paid a visit to Auta Awazi Paulina, a 200level student of the department of English who was attacked yesterday by an armed robber at Iddo first junction. 
Paulina who was returning from Redeem-5 campus fellowship at the school at around 6:30pm met this unfortunate incident when she resisted handing her bag over to the armed robber. 
"I didn't recognise his face" Paulina said.

As I tried dragging my handbag with him, he brought out a matchet and cut my hands, that was all I could remember, she added in tears.
"My money and my phones are now gone".

"The thief, left her there to bleed and die before I met her" said the roommate Ajogwu Ochanya Alice,a 100level student of Broadcasting, film and multimedia studies, who alerted the SUG Director of Finance, Hon. Farouk,who immediately rushed her to the hospital.
The SUG Speaker, Rt. Hon. Nkem Silas after presenting the little token of assistance to the victim assured her that this SUG will definitely do something to avert a subsequent reoccurrence of such event.


"Be rest assured that we'll definitely do something concerning this issue, we're already making plans to visit the Iddo divisional police headquarters and the Local vigilantee as soon as possible ,so as to end this incidence from happening again" said the speaker.
Also present at the visit, were Hon. Ehis-SUG Secretary General, Hon. Ikedichukwu Michael-SUG Director of Socials, Hon. Farouk-SUG Director of finance, Hon. Akan-SUG chief whip, Hon. Honest-Chairman Committee on selections, Hon. Godwin-Chairman Committee on Socials and Hon. Ifesinachi-Chairman Committee on Inter-Departmental/faculty affairs.
