Vice Chancellor's working visit to Faculty of Education.

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Abuja, Prof. Babatunde F. Hakeem on Tuesday 20th January 2026 in his three days tour on both Campuses of the University was warmly received by Staff members and passionate students at the Faculty of Education. 

The visit was engaging, lively and impactful. 

The Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof.H.A Apeh formally welcomed the Vice Chancellor and appreciated him for the honor and privilege to visit the Faculty for interaction and needs assessment. 

There after, other members of staff spoke and directed pressing concerns that affects staff and students welfare and overall teaching-learning experience to the Vice Chancellor. 

Upon listening to all, the Vice Chancellor responding by assuring the Faculty of the readiness of his administration to provide the best necessary support to the Faculty for excellent performance and efficient service delivery. 

After the interaction, the Dean Faculty of Education led the VC on an inspection tour around the Faculty. Topping the list of request by the faculty were; sufficient water supply, office spaces, sufficient and working toilets, increase of manpower (Staff) amongst others. 

The meeting was attended by Professors and senior lecturers, student leaders and Students across all levels.
