Mother Faculty balances Academics and Sports - Honors Faculty Dean with Competition.

The Deputy Daddy's administration in the spirit of balancing Academics and Social life on campus has organized a Sport Competition through the office of the NUESA Director of Sports, Comrade JoeJoe in honor of the Dean of Faculty of Education Prof. A. H Apeh. 

The competition officially kickoff on the 13th of January 2026 at the University of Abuja main pitch with the official kickoff ceremony by the Dean who was ably represented by the Deputy Dean of the Faculty. 

The Faculty President has stated that this honor to the Dean stems from the interest the Dean has shown the student association, the open-door policy he operates and genuine concern for students welfare and performance. 

" The Dean is not just a good man and leader but he is a father to us, he has shown us genuine interest, given us maximum and necessary support in this short period of our administration. Hosting this competition in his honor  is not too much for him. " Stated the president. 

So far, the spirit of competition is high at the moment across the six departments in the faculty with the department of Educational Management currently topping the table with 20pts after featuring in two games - football and volleyball, securing the gold medal for volleyball games. 

The competition is in midway and nobody can predict the outcome yet.
