Investigations by The Nuesa press have revealed that some students and a few cyber cafe operators within the school has been engaging in the criminal offense of forgery of drug test result.
This criminal offense has been condemned by both the school authority and the NDLEA certified toxicology centre,Healthconnect Nigeria;the former promising a severe action against the culprits and the later reinstating her commitment towards serving her purpose.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Abdul-Rasheed Na'Allah, who mandated that every prospective student of the university must undertake a drug test and present its result before the admission process could be complete, while speaking at the 27th pre-convocation briefing on October 4,2023, noting that the institution was working with the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to rehabilitate students who were involved in drug abuse so they do not become a nuisance after graduation has also declared that any student caught in the criminal act of forging the drug test result would face expulsion.
On an interview with the certified NDLEA pathological and toxicology center located at Iddo General Hospital, they confirmed that their process are online and anyone forging their certificate will be caught in due time as the processes are digitally documented and also advised the students to always make sure they receive their eCode on their email and check if their result is properly signed by necessary authorities as mandated by the school authority.
Students are advised to desist from indulging in this criminal offense, they should always make sure that they locate the Iddo General Hospital for a proper test and they should report any illegal move by any cyber cafe operator or fast-hand student to this number–09045893902
