"The message we sent the smoke, have finally reached the ears of heaven" This is a costumised traditional remark my boss always make when we make much gains from our day to day sales at the market.
Truly, the message the UofA students sent the 9th Assembly Parliament has reached the heavens and the acting Speaker of the Parliament, Rt. Hon. Zainab Issa, her principal officers and the members of parliament representing their respective faculties and halls of residence are working tirelessly to birth this truth to life.

"Seek the truth for yourself, and I will meet you there." That was the instruction Veteran leader, Wolly Bee said to me. He said it ironically, attempting to sound deep while simultaneously making fun of people who attempt to sound deep. This was shortly after the leadership workshop organised for students leaders by the Students affairs directorate, I met with him outside the faculty of law during the meet and greet as I had already fallen in love with his teaching and this was the instruction, he gave. I decided to hold it dear to my heart, as I've solemnly affirmed to report the truth always to my 93.3% students voice.

It is no longer news that the students are always finding it hard to cope with the GST lectures which is always a combined lecture for many faculties in our mostly 500 capacity lecture halls, and this challenge leaves the students either hanging around in an uncomfortable environment, thereby undermining the influence of nature and nature towards learning or missing the lectures.

Most times, democratic students either loose their belonging while squeezing themselves inside the lecture halls while laissez faire students end up not learning anything, as they just freely hang around outside the hall even when it's GST, including foreign language that we're talking about.

Imagine that somebody puts a gun to your head and tells you that you have to run 33.3 miles in under five hours, or else he'll kill you and your entire family.

That would suck, right?

Now imagine that you bought nice shoes and running gear, trained religiously and meticulously for months, and completed your first marathon with all of your closest family and friends cheering you on at the finish line.

That could potentially be one of the proudest moments of your life.

Exact same 33.3 miles. Exact same person running them. Exact same pain coursing through your exact same legs. But when you chose it freely and prepared for it, it was a glorious and important milestone in your life.

Today, the Rt. Hon. Zainab Issa 9th Assembly administration has shown that truly, they are prepared to represent the interests and welfare of thees students and that truly women in leadership makes tremendous impact in changing the world.

Vis-à-vis, the motive behind the courtesy visit of Rt. Hon. Zeenab Issa and Hon. Akan, the Chief Whip of the 9th Assembly is not for political show offs, but to bring an end to the uncomfortable nature of learning the students have faced which have been allowed to go on for so long. Remember, if an evil act is allowed to be practised for a very long time, then it becomes a tradition.

During the visit at the directorate of GST,mini campus, Prof. B. R Mohammed, the head of the G.S.T directorate and the board members promised to look into the issue and also engage in grouping of the faculties to enhance learning as suggested by the acting Speaker.

He also sent a note of warning to students who have been taking the GST lectures for granted, especially the foreign languages, "You'll not graduate if you fail GST courses" he reiterated.
He also assured the students that though the foreign language GST lecturers are currently not in the country, they'll definitely be back to resume lectures by Monday.

The acting Speaker, Rt. Hon. Zainab Issa, before leaving the meeting, thanked the director and the board members for the warm welcome and keen attention and also promised to make sure the students fully comply to the faculty grouping.

I've carefully chosen to use the character of the acting speaker, Rt. Hon Zainab Issa as a reminder to all UofA students leaders, to be cautious of the ways we go about carrying out our duties in this union and to all be reminded that escaping the bars and criticisms of this union and media might not necessarily mean escaping the bars of the heaven! Furthermore, it is a reminder to evil or corrupt politicians regardless of your status, that at the end we all might be charged and arraigned before the Court of Heaven whose Judge is God Almighty and might likely be proceeded against in prosecution, conviction and sentenced to an eternal condemnation or an eternal life.

I've got eternal life.
